This has the lesson plans, daily attendance sheet, and some other paperwork. The bottom bulletin board I put up. It is our "Look at us" board with pictures of the children that I've taken. Right now it has family pictures that the children have brought in for our All About Me unit.

Here is my "All About Me" wall. I asked each child their favorite color and on the front they each say, "Whose favorite color is _____ (whatever the color is)." Then there is a small hole cut in each one and inside is a picture of that child. The kids love looking at them.

In the art area, I divided each of the crayons and markers into 3 different plastic pencil boxes. Since I have 3 tables of children, they have to put the box in the middle of the table and share them. They are doing very well with this.

The block area: The legos and the duplos are the only blocks the kids have. There are some tools and the winnie the pooh has some wooden square blocks in it. I cut pictures of people from magazines and taped to paper towel rolls so they could play with them.

This area has the extra cubbies which I use for part-timers and to store my things that I don't want the children to get to. Also, they have cots. The door is the bathroom and the poster and frog are laminated and each frog has a child's name on it. I use this to make sure everyone has went to potty before going outside or whatever else I need it for. I just move the frogs from the top to the bottom and back again.

Dramatic play area:. I finally scrounged up some small dolls for them to play with the doll house. There is no dress up stuff or doll clothes for the baby dolls. I went and borrowed a telephone from the infant room to use this month.

The group area 2 picture is what the wall pretty much looks like now. I changed it with our new curriculum stuff.

Most of this is still the same other than a few things from the curriculum that I've added to the manipulative area. I will add more once we get our household goods on Wed.

Sand_Water Play Area: I pulled this table from another room and put 1 or 2 containers on it depending what I have in it. I started off with long pieces of streamers that I found in the art area in it. They cut it with scissors or tore it. Last week I put water with shampoo, dolls, & wash cloths. They had a good time.

I moved the science area right behind the art and manipulative cubbies. Now they can play right their on the carpet. I've added a few things from the dollar tree that the kids love.

I made the ticket booth because the children are use to having movie day. I didn't want to take that away, but I did want to make it more educational. I brought in some pennies and made some tickets. I set their chairs up like a movie theater. Then they all get in line and I hand out their tickets and a penny. On the front of the ticket booth, I write the name of the movie and the price (and I tell the children this). I punch their ticket, take their money, and they watch the movie.

The wall is where my tables are now lined down. I bought the clock poster and the kids really enjoy it. It has everything - letter, number, clock, colors, shapes, etc, etc. It also has a ruler for me to measure the kids on. I put all the tables in a line and it works so much better.

I finally got to buy the carpet I needed to put down in the garage so that I could use it as an outside area this winter.

The box is our bat cave. I tried to paint rocks with stalagtites and stalagmites (sp? LOL) and a few bats on the side on top.

Bat Cave again. I cut a hole in the top and used that piece to paint blue and they can move it around as a pool of water.

This is the Scribble spot. I placed this piece of cardboard up against the wall, punched 4 holes in it, tied a bead to the end of the ribbon and then sidewalk chalk to the other end.

Another view of the Scribble Spot. We can't write on the sidewalk because of the rain, but I have found a way for us to still use it this winter. I plan to change these out weekly and if the spot gets too bad, then I think I could just place paper on the cardboard.

These are small pumpkin candy holders that I have glued together. I will give the children rings to play a ring toss game with it.
